Open Day

Our house and sports captains did us proud yesterday when they led the tours for new and prospective parents. They demonstrated our Core Values brilliantly and guided the visitors around with confidence and clarity about what they enjoyed about school.

Thank you for being brilliant representatives of our school!

Applications for September 2024 open on Monday 6th November and close on 15th January 2024. A link to the application page can be found here: https://www.essex.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/schools/admissions/primary-school-places

If you are a prospective parent for 2024 and you were unable to attend yesterday's Open Morning, and would like a tour, please contact the office to book an appointment.

New Parent Governors

I am very pleased to announce that Tory Foster and Amy Wareham, who have children in Years 1, 2 and 3, will be joining the Governing Board as our new parent governors. They will take up their positions from December. We look forward to working closely with them to make Rodings an even better place to work and learn.

Fireworks Night
Just a reminder, our postponed Fireworks Night will be held on Tuesday 7th at 6pm. Thanks for your understanding when we postponed this event due to the weather warning. I hope that you will still be able to join and help raise vital funds for the school.

Can I politely ask that you consider our neighbours when parking for the event. Many Thanks!

Have a lovely weekend!

Mr Raraty

Well done to our fabulous Swifts and Wrens today…their Superhero and Halloween Day was for a very special cause. 'World Diabetes Day' which is celebrated every year on the 14th November.

We are so proud of them all!  They have raised an amazing £445 so far, but there is still time to make it even more.

You can donate to help our Swifts and Wrens raise money by using the following link.

A very big thank you to everyone who contributed to our Harvest Collection.  The volunteers of the Little Edi Foundation were overwhelmed with the amount we collected and wanted us to pass on their gratitude - so THANK YOU :-)

Luca achieved his junior blue striped belt last week at Takeley Karate Club. He has been training very hard to achieve this and we are all very proud of him.

Well done Luca, this is a fabulous achievement, we are very proud of you :-)
