Creating a Buzz

What a busy week Rodings have had designing and decorating the bee. The bee has finally been named as 'R2B2' and we are very proud of the (almost) finished art work. More details to follow about the 'Buzz in the City Trail' and other creative fundraising activities. A huge thanks to artist Katy Frost for volunteering her time and artistic skills for this project.

We hope you can join us for our sports day & family picnic on Friday 23rd May.

Our family picnic will be held between 12:00 and 12:30pm before an afternoon of sports. All our families are welcome.

The Rodings Galley will be offering a grab and go lunch for those who would like it, orders can be placed on the day at registration. There will be no jacket potato option for Sports Day.

We've had a very busy and sunny couple of weeks at Forest School ! 

Last week it was the long- awaited Reading Treat- we had a book- themed Easter Egg hunt around the forest, then toasted marshmallows around the fire.

This week, Goslings were learning about the ancient celebration of May Day- we made magic May- flower wands and then had a go at lighting our own mini May Day fires with a flint & steel! We were so impressed at their perseverance with this tricky skill. Well done, Goslings !

Emily and Lydia took their dance exams in March and recently got their results.

They each got a pass with Distinction in both Ballet and Modern! 

All their hard work paid off ??
