From the Desk of Mr Raraty

Welcome back everyone,

It was lovely to see everyone this week after the Easter break. It has been a busy and jam packed week with Goslings going on their first school visit to Boydell's Farm. There were amazing, so well-behaved and represented the school brilliantly. It was a great experience for all of them with the opportunity to hold and feed a range of farm animals. Milking Mootilda, the cow, was a highlight for many of them.

Update of Strike Action
There will be two additional days of industrial action by the NEU on Thursday 27th April and Tuesday 2nd May. Please assume that the same classes will be affected as on previous occasions.

We have been had several requests for key worker places this time around. The key worker definition is different to the pandemic and only children of critical workers can be offered places in school during a strike, this includes NHS staff and emergency services workers only.

Thanks for your understanding in this difficult situation.

Let's hope the sun continues to shine and have a great weekend!

Mr Raraty

Hey! We are both running the London Marathon this year for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

As you may or may not know our two youngest sons George and Jack were diagnosed with the autoimmune condition Type 1 Diabetes in August 2019. They both need insulin 24 hours a day to survive and currently there is no cure.

So, with your donations we can contribute towards vital research in finding a cure for both our boys and your money will help to raise important awareness of what Type 1 is and how it affects people and their families living with it.

To donate please follow this link https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ethearne?utm_source=copyLink&utm_medium=fundraising&utm_content=ethearne&utm_campaign=pfp-share&utm_term=3d88e01808dd4b47b8e88b485e6dbec0

Thank you x
