Happy New Year Everyone!

From everyone at Rodings, I would like to wish you a happy and healthy New Year.

It was lovely to see all the children back yesterday. During assembly, we spoke about the aims and goals we want to achieve this year. Our whole school aim is to makes sure that we are as kind as we possibly can be. We will revisit the theme of kindness through this half term.

We have had two great days and I look forward to a full week of learning next week.

Have a lovely weekend!

Sports for Champions

On January 25th we are very excited to be hosting an inspirational workshop with Double Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist, Courtney Tulloch. Courtney needs your help to raise funds for vital training, medical and competition costs. This money will also help your school and other athletes across the country, find out more below!

Courtney will be coming to our to meet our children, where he will show off his amazing skills, tell us about his story and join us in a fitness challenge. This is where we need your help! We are fundraising with a target of £1,000 to complete this challenge. If we reach our target some of the money will go to the athletes to help them compete but most will be returned back to our school.

The children all have a sponsor form for them to fill in and there is also a crowd fund page for those who wish to donate remotely. We will be collecting the money on the 25th January, anything that can be raised is amazing! The children who manage to raise over £35 will have received a signed photo of themselves with Courtney.

Here is a link to a video showing what will happen on the day.
