From the desk of Mr Raraty

This week we are starting with some lovely news!

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Crawley on the arrival of their little baby boy. Baby Joel arrived safe and well on Wednesday afternoon. Mum and baby are all doing well. I'm sure you will join me in wishing the Crawley family all the best.

Mr Crawley will be paternity leave for the next weeks, so any messages about his class should be directed to Miss Yiu.

Year 6 SATs Change of Dates

Due to the extra bank holiday due to the King's coronation the dates for next year's Year 6 SATs have been slightly amended. The assessments will now run from Tuesday 9th  to Friday 12th May. Friday was due to be a test free day, so no leave of absence requests will be granted. If you have already put in a request for Friday 12th this will need to be changed.

Please remember that Monday 5th December is an INSET day.

Have a lovely weekend!

Attendance Update
We have always had really positive attendance at Rodings either meeting or exceeding our attendance target. However, this has started to decline over the last few months. Each week, I will publish our current attendance data. As a percentage 1% unauthorised absence looks small but convert this into lost learning hours you can see the impact this can have on a child's progress.
