Mrs Passingham - Baby News
I am delighted to announce the arrival of Mrs Passingham's baby, a happy and healthy (and large) baby boy. Everyone at Rodings is overjoyed for Mrs Passingham and her family. Congratulations and we wish you all the best for the future!
Hot Weather Update
There is another expected heatwave next week, so just a reminder for children to have a water bottle, hat and to apply sunscreen before children come to school.
Unlike June's unprecedented temperatures, next week's heatwave doesn't come with a weather warning, so our hot weather plan will not come into effect. However, we will monitor the situation very carefully and put additional measures in place if we need to e.g. reduce time outside at peak temperatures.
If anything should change, we will update you.
R-Fest
Once again, R-Fest was a triumph! Thank you to all the parents and other family members that joined us over the last two days, celebrating everything creative about Rodings. There were so many highlights from the amazing artwork, dance performances and, of course, the Singing Squad.
A huge “Thank You” goes to Mrs Coates-Reynolds, the powerhouse behind the inspiration and organisation of R-Fest. So much hard work and planning goes into the two days and the lessons that lead up to this fantastic event. Thanks to all the staff for being so open to being creative and producing such brilliant work.
This year we have worked with brilliant partners to bring skilled and specialist experts to Rodings. Their presence has really enriched the provision we have been able to offer the children. So a huge shout-out goes to:
