Giselle and Arabella from Parrots attended a workshop campaigning for girls’ rights with author Sufiya Ahmed as part of the Essex Book Festival.

As part of the suffragettes modern movement, they created a campaign together for equal pay and closing the gender gap. They were highly commended for their excellent poster and viral campaign plan and their presentation of it to an audience. Here is a picture with the author.

This is absolutely amazing girls, we are so very proud of you :-)

"A great year for Connor Bates having played for West Ham Performance Academy in the Junior Premier League facing teams like Arsenal and Norwich to also being scouted by Ipswich and placed in their Elite Player Pre Academy. He's already looking forward to working hard next season as he's attracted the attention of a few EJA League clubs as well. Connor would like to thank Mr Wright for playing a part in he's development."

Wow Connor, this is a fantastic achievement, well done :-)

Last Friday, in the blistering heat,  Bronagh and Seamus danced in their first major competition of 2022 “The Three Nations”.

Both achieved beyond expectation.

Bronagh achieved a great result of 30th place in the championship but in her own preliminary grade came 2nd out of 16 competitors.

She received a beautiful medal and trophy. This was a fantastic result for Bronagh!

Seamus danced in the Under 11 boys competition. He came 3rd to competitors who were 1st and 5th  at the world championships in April. Not only did he achieve 3rd in Under 11, he was awarded 1st place in the Under 10 boys competition as highest placed under 10 boy.  Seamus received a commemorative belt to engrave with his name and return next year and a medal and trophy to keep.

Seamus now prepares to travel next Wednesday to compete in the North American Nationals held in Montreal, Canada.

Well done Bronagh and Seamus, we are always so proud of how well you do :-)
