I'm delighted to announce that the Rodings family is expanding even more with the exciting news that Miss Raban is expecting her second child. Baby is due at the very end of July, so Miss Raban is delighted that she will be about for all the end of Year 6 celebrations.
Everyone at Rodings is so excited about the new addition to Miss Raban's family and I'm sure you will join me in sending her best wishes over the coming months.
We are experiencing a baby boom at Rodings with three new additions coming in the next few months. Mrs Keeble will start her maternity leave after half term, with her last day being 27th Febraury. Mrs Deamer will take over the class on Monday 23rd February to aid a smooth transition handover. And Mrs Passingham will be going on maternity leave in the summer term. Exciting times!
We will also be saying goodbye to Miss Whitbread next Thursday, as she leaves us to go travelling. Although she has only been with us a short time, Miss Whitbread has been a highly respected and valued member of the team and has had such an impact on the children she has worked with. I know Wrens class are really going to miss her a lot!
Concerns, Worries and Complaints – The Escalation Process
Although we try our best, there will be times when you have questions or want to raise queries about the education your child receives at Rodings. We believe in positive dialogue between home and school to make a really strong partnership with the best outcomes for all.
I've included the following infographic below to show the Rodings escalation process if you want to raise an issue. This way, the right people are contacted at the right time.

Just a reminder to sign up for the My Happy Mind parents app. You should have received a sticker or QR code in your child's journal. You can only access it through the specific code you were given. Don't worry if you have lost the code as there will be a sign-up sheet at Learning Consultations next week.
Have a lovely weekend!
