Updating the Rodings Road Map

New Behaviour Notifications

From Monday, we will be using a facility in Arbor that will notify you if your child has been involved in a behaviour issue. This will be for incidents that we have graded as level 2 behaviour which has been dealt with by the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). In some cases, this message will be followed up with a phone call from a member of staff. It is hoped that the new message service will give you a better idea of how your child is behaving in school, bringing a more consistent approach. If you receive a behaviour message, we would encourage you to speak with your child about the situation and support the consequences that have been put in place.

Have a great weekend!

 Rodings Christmas Fayre  - Friday 28th November  –  5-7pm

The Christmas Fayre is NEXT FRIDAY! We know you may feel overwhelmed by the amount of messages we send next week so here is a break down:

  • All entries for our NEW ‘Design a Scarf’ competition must be in by next Friday ready to be announced at the Fayre. Please use the template below or ask for one at the Office to design a  scarf. The winning design will be will be MADE in time for Christmas. All entries cost £1. More detail are on the poster below.
  • Wristbands are on sale on Arbor now! You can purchase games & crafts wristbands or games, crafts and Santa’s Grotto wristbands. Please see the poster below for details.
  • Christmas trees are also live on Arbor now. You can pre-order your Christmas tree at a discounted price and choose it on the night. We are only able to offer delivery within a five mile radius of the school this year – delivery cost £5. For more information, please see the poster below!
  • Next Friday (28th November) is Christmas Jumper Day! We ask all children to wear a Christmas  jumper on the day to get in the Christmas spirit. In exchange for wearing the Christmas jumper we are asking everyone to bring in a prize for the Tombola. Please bring in any prize but ensure it is new (no used items)! Again, there is another poster with more info!
  • And of course, we cannot put on this event without the support of volunteers. If you can please spare even 30 minutes on the night it means we can run the event more smoothly. We do not want to have to limit the stalls we have open but we will have to if we do not have enough volunteers. Please email friendsofrodings@gmail.com if you can help (please only email if you have not already voted on a WhatsApp poll).

We can’t wait to see you all there, we’ve got some very special surprises which we hope you all will love!
