Singing Squad Concert

It was an absolute privilege to watch the Singing Squad concert on Wednesday evening. Once again, the roof was lifted off the building with the sounds of amazing singing along with some jazzy choreography. The joy on the faces of the children as they sang some of their favourite tunes was just wonderful to see.

It was also the premiere of the full version of their long awaited music video with some amazing aerial shots. We are hoping to put some clips on the school website soon.

The audience, although rather warm, thoroughly enjoyed their evening and there were even a few tears because of the beautiful performances.

A huge “Thank You” goes to Miss Raban, Mrs Keeble and Mrs Cooke for their dedication and handwork with the choir. We are very lucky to have them!

End of Year Arrangements

As we approach the end of the academic year, I thought I would send out some reminders and arrangements for the last few days.

  • For Wednesday, can the children bring in a bag (bag for life is good for this) so that they can take their books home.
  • Please check at home for any library books, reading books and Read, Write Inc books.
  • Check the lost property boxes. We have a vast collection of unclaimed uniform, lunch boxes and other clothing items.
  • Please pay any outstanding money for meals, trips etc through Arbor
  • We finish school at 1pm on Tuesday 22nd July.

Enjoy the sun and have a lovely weekend!

We are super proud of Alfie.  This is his first season of joining the High Roding Cricket Club Colts.  He has been taking on board all the Coaches advice and practising a lot at home.  Last week he was awarded the trophy for the ‘Most Improved Player’ in the under 8 Group.

Well done Alfie, we are so proud of you :-)
