??Summer Fete 2024??

We are so excited to see you all at our summer fete tomorrow! We will have lots of fun and games, food and drink, stalls and activities on hand to keep you entertained! Don’t forget to bring your swimming stuff for our structured swimming sessions too! This is one of our biggest fundraisers for the school, and an awful lot of hard work goes in to running it, so we’d really appreciate your support in helping to make it another successful year! HUGE thanks as always to all the Rodings staff, our Friends committee members, their extended families and all our lovely Rodings helpers who go above and beyond to make these events AWESOME! See you there!

????? SUMMER FETE PARKING ?????

We are incredibly grateful to the village hall committee who have offered use of their car park during our fete on Saturday. We would ask all fete attendees who can to please take advantage of the offer and use the village hall car park to help ease parking congestion and reduce the impact of the event on local residents. There is a safe and easy path from the village hall car park to the school. If you are driving to the fete and park elsewhere, please do park considerately and remember to observe any parking restrictions. Thanks so much

This week at Forest School...????

We started off our session by trying a bit of forest bathing! The Goslings enjoyed looking up at the trees and listening to all the sounds of the forest.  Some of the Goslings then had a go at nature weaving, and learning the skill of whittling with potato peelers.  I was really impressed with how well they listened and were sensible with this.  The rest of the Goslings had their usual morning adventures: swinging on the rope swing, building dens, making a forest orchestra and hunting for animal tracks and bugs amongst many other things!

Oscar Craven in Kookaburras (and his dad) completed the NHS's  "couch to 5K" programme this morning! He has been so dedicated, getting up at 5.50am 3 times a week for 9 weeks straight!

Very proud of his perseverance and commitment

Well done Oscar, we are very proud of you :-)

On Saturday, Arthur & James made their debut for their newly formed team Hatfield Broad Oak. They both worked so hard along side their team mates. We are so proud of them.

On Sunday, Charlie & Stanley took part in the Broomfield Football Tournament with their Hatfield Broad Oak team. They made it down to the last 16. Both boys worked so hard against some brilliant teams and we are very proud of them as they’ve only been a team since February.

Well done boys, we are so proud of you all :-)
