Good Luck Year 6
Next week, our Year 6 children will be undertaking the national SATs test. I want to take this opportunity to congratulate them on how well they have dealt with the build up and preparation for next week's assessments. They have worked so hard and shown an incredibly mature approach to their revision.
All we ask is that you try your best and show off what you have learnt over the last few years.
We are very proud of you!
Due to timetabling for the tests, there may be some changes to the school day. For example, there will be no assemblies next week and break may be at a different time.
Relationships and Sex Education (RSE)
Thank you to those that came to the parents' information evening about our Relationship and Sex Education curriculum. A really good discussion was held, debating the content of the scheme of work that we use at Rodings. We teach RSE after half term and I will send outline details of the lesson objectives for each year group by a separate email nearer the time, so please look out for that. We will also notify you which week RSE will be taught just in case any questions come home.
