The last couple of days have felt like spring has finally arrived. Hopefully, the better weather will also help get rid of some of the bugs and germs that we have experienced lately. We regularly get enquiries about whether a child should come to school or not if they are feeling unwell. Below is a poster produced by Essex County Council and the NHS about child illnesses and school attendance. It's ideal for printing off and keeping somewhere safe. I hope you find it useful.

School Lunch Winners

At the Christmas Fayre, some families were lucky enough to win the opportunity to join their children for school lunch. Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about you! We are going to open up some dates to come for lunch in the summer term. If it's nice, we might be able to do some al fresco dining! I will be in contact again soon with dates.

Have a lovely weekend!

This week at Forest School...????

We had another super squelchy morning in the forest! We started the morning with a mindfulness activity, closing our eyes and counting on our fingers how many different sounds we could hear all around us. We then went off to explore, jumping in the puddles, swinging on the rope swing, making a worm school , cooking up some delicious mud soup and creating shapes out of willow.

Well done, Goslings!

Mrs George.
