I hope that you all had a lovely two weeks off and have been spending plenty of time relaxing and enjoying yourselves with your family. We are excited to get going with our next set of the Learning from Home tasks and resources and seeing on Class Dojo what you get up to this week.
I have updated all of our Additional Documents so that they now include more suggestions of websites or activities for you to look at. I have also tweaked the way that you access these, hopefully making it even easier for you. If you click on the page (to the right) you can find out how to view and use these. I have also updated my 'Top Learning' document to be specifically for websites which will help those of you who are using a more lesson based approach to your timetable at home (we do not expect you to do this) but hopefully it will be of use. As before, I will continue to add to these as we discover further resoures/webistes.
On that topic, I just wanted to make you aware that BBC Bitesize have produced a time table of lessons that they will be providing each day. This will also be available through the Red Button service they provide. If you want more information then visit: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zn9447h. As with everything that we have provided this is not compulsory, but may be of help to some of you.
Also, I have started compiling some resources to help with some of the difficulties your child may experience this tricky time. We fully appreciate that some of our children will be struggling with the isolation and distancing and I aim to provide you with resources and websites which provide some assistance with this. I have already added in an 'Active Coping Calendar' from a fantastic website www.actionforhappiness.org to the Addition Documents.
Below are the documents for our Week 3 Learning from Home Projects: This week our project is: Viewpoints.
- EYFS is for Goslings
- KS1 is for Toucans, Parrots and Penguins
- LKS2 is for Swans and Flamingos
- UKS2 is for Owls, Puffins and Peacocks
Also, the hyperlinks only work in the Word versions of the documents.
If you have any questions or need any assistance please remember that we are here to help. If you have any issues related to work for your child please contact your class teacher in the first instance and anything general feel free to contact me either over Dojo or via my email address (email@example.com)
Stay safe, take care and talk soon
