Work Experience and Work Placements
We love working in schools, and we want to share this passion by supporting and encouraging people to seek a career in education. As well as offering Initial Teacher Training (ITT) through DEEP ITT, we also offer the opportunity for young people and other interested individuals to carry out work experience at Rodings. Work experience can vary for different periods of time and focus on different career choices such as teaching, support staff and administration.
We receive a high volume of work experience requests each year, and unfortunately, we can't offer a place to everyone. We can offer three or four placements a year depending on the time of year and career focus.
If you are interested in a career working with children and would like a work placement at Rodings Primary, please complete the following Google form. Once the form has been processed, successful applicants will be asked for an informal interview to confirm work placement details and objectives.
We are particularly keen to hear from those that have a real passion for working with young people and education.
Safeguarding is very important to us and appropriate safeguarding procedures will be implemented.
